What happens to my receipts when I mail them in?

When we receive your receipts and business cards, we process them with state-of-the-art scanners that crop and enhance the scanned images automatically. Then the images of your receipts are uploaded to your account at shoeboxed.com along with the store name, date of purchase, payment type including card used if available, total price, and if recognizable, a category for the receipt. Your business cards are scanned and entered with the contact information on the front and back of each card. If you are using Shoeboxed Classic or Business plans, your receipts and business cards are then mailed back along with a new Shoeboxed Mail-In envelope for your next shipment. If you are a Shoeboxed Mail-In Lite user, your receipts and business cards will be shredded and recycled four weeks after they are processed into your account.

 Receipts and business cards are only handled by our highly trained document management specialists who undergo intensive training and background checks to insure that receipts and other documents are handled in a professional and secure manner.
